Mail Order BDM Tuning Upgrades
This is an upgrade without the use of your cars on-board diagnostics (OBD) socket, so we have to get our hands physically on the Engine Control Unit (ECU). It's perfect if you live outside of our catchment area for Mobile Upgrades or if your vehicle doesn't have an OBD socket.

Once you've safely removed it, send it to our engineers at HyperChips via special delivery; we'll perform the upgrade and send it back the very same day. Follow our detailed instructions on reinstalling the ECU and you're now in possession of a faster, more powerful and fuel efficient car. Of course our engineers will always be on hand to guide you through the re-installation of the ECU.

BDM Tuning VS OBD Tuning
The two methods produce exactly the same results, they are just two different ways of going about the same thing. An OBD upgrade uses your vehicle's on-board 16-pin diagnostics port, which gives direct access to the ECU. Through the OBD port we can make changes to your ECU, remapping it for fuel economy, performance, and anything else you desire. We can perform an OBD upgrade at your home using our specialist equipment.
A BDM upgrade is a little different. Since it's not done through the OBD port we need to physically get our hands on the ECU to make the changes. Rather than remapping the ECU through a convenient port, we have to open the ECU and interface with it directly. Because of this we can't do a BDM upgrade on site, the changes must be made at our HQ. It's a simple case of our customers removing the ECU and sending it special delivery to our HQ.
